Spring. It's surprisingly, but just 400 km north of Moscow the ice and ridges stand high above a man. The wind is so strong that it piles the ice resulting overturn of massive rocks on the shore and plowing the coastal sand.
When we planned to start, we had doubts if we could catch any ice particles at the shore, but fortunately, the sea was completely covered with ice.

We arrived at this place, when it was heavy raining and blowing hard. The trip was very dynamic, everything was scheduled with a stopwatch, but the desire to shoot this scenery was very strong. The shooting took place at the very edge of the cliff. The wind blows made us nervous, so we had to shoot in prone position to avoid being carried down to the sea. Photo filters were constantly covered with drops. Nothing made the situation easy. We could take only a shot and everything got soaked. But such weather helped us to photograph these astonishing nature conditions.

Throwing out a fountain of sand with a whistle, stone backs appear from the sandy sea and freeze in a vibrating tension. And time runs like a wet jelly with a hint of hot stone.
